About the Meesho Label Crop Tool
Every day, thousands of Meesho suppliers download shipping labels from their seller panel and send them straight to a printer. The trouble is that the PDF is rarely print-ready. Each page usually carries the courier label at the top and the tax invoice below it, surrounded by white space. Printed as it is, the page wastes paper and ink, does not fit a 4x4 or 4x6 inch thermal sticker and forces your packing team to trim every sheet by hand.
The Meesho Label Crop Tool solves this in a few clicks. You upload the original PDF, choose what you want to keep, and the tool produces a clean file: only the shipping label, only the invoice, four labels on one A4 sheet, or the label and invoice with the extra white space removed. It can also sort your labels by SKU, courier or quantity, stamp a date or your shop name on each label and give you an order list that shows how many units of each product you need to pack.
The tool is free, needs no registration and runs completely inside your web browser. Because a label PDF contains customer names, addresses and phone numbers, the tool is designed so that your file never leaves your device. This page is a complete manual. It explains each step with illustrations, describes every option in detail, covers printing for thermal and A4 printers and lists solutions to the most common problems.
Who is this tool for?
- Small and home-based sellers who print a few dozen labels a day on a basic printer and want to stop wasting paper.
- Growing sellers and resellers who handle hundreds of orders and need sorting by SKU or courier to pack faster.
- Packing teams and warehouse staff who need clean, consistent labels and an order list to pick stock without mistakes.
- Anyone with a thermal printer who needs labels in exact sizes such as 4x4 inch, 4x6 inch or 100 x 150 mm.
What you need before you start
- The original label PDF generated by your Meesho supplier panel. Screenshots, photos and scanned copies will not work because they contain no readable text.
- A modern browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
- An internet connection to open this page. The PDF libraries load once, and the cropping then happens on your own device.
- A printer: a thermal label printer or any normal A4 inkjet or laser printer.
- Up to 10 PDF files with a combined size of no more than 100 MB per batch.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Use the Meesho Label Crop Tool
Follow these seven steps the first time you use the tool. After that, your options are remembered on your device, so a typical daily batch takes less than a minute.
1Download the original label PDF
Log in to your Meesho supplier panel, open the orders section and select the orders that are ready to ship. Use the label download option to get the PDF that Meesho generates. Menu names and button positions can change when the panel is updated, so look for the option that downloads shipping labels. What matters is that you save the file exactly as Meesho created it.
2Upload your PDF
Use the tool at the top of this page. Drag the PDF into the dashed box, or press Select PDF File and choose it from your device. You can add up to 10 files in one batch as long as the total size stays under 100 MB. Each file appears in a list with its name, page count and a small thumbnail, and a counter shows the total number of pages loaded.
Use the arrow buttons beside a file to move it up or down, which changes the page order of the final PDF. Use the cross button to remove one file, or Clear All to start again.
3Choose a crop mode
The crop mode decides what the final PDF contains. Single Label (marked Popular) keeps only the shipping label, one per page, and is the right choice for thermal printers. Invoice A4 keeps only the invoice on a full A4 page. 4 Labels A4 places four labels on every A4 sheet to save paper.
Label + Invoice keeps both parts but trims the white space. No Crop leaves each page unchanged, which is useful when you only want to sort pages, add a date stamp or use the order list.
4Pick a label size and sorting
When Single Label is selected, open the Label size menu. Auto fit uses the exact size of the cropped label. The fixed sizes (4 x 4 inch, 4 x 6 inch, 100 x 100 mm, 100 x 150 mm and A6) place the label on a page of that size so it matches the stickers in your printer. If you are unsure, start with Auto fit and print a single test label.
Under Sorting, choose Original to keep Meesho’s order, SKU Group to put identical products together, Courier to group by pickup partner, or Multi-qty to place orders with more than one item first. The tool reads SKU, quantity and courier from the text on each label.
5Set the additional options
Order list builds a summary of labels and units per SKU and per courier and lets you download it as CSV. Print date stamps today’s date on each label. Custom text stamps a short line such as your shop name or the packer’s name, up to 40 characters in English letters, numbers and symbols.
In Output file name you can name the finished PDF and decide whether the date is added. Keep Remember my options on this device ticked if you want your choices restored next time.
6Process the PDF and check the result
Press Process PDF. A progress bar shows each page being read and prepared, and you can press Cancel at any time. When it finishes, a summary shows the pages read, the output pages and the file size, and a preview opens with zoom controls.
Check the first few labels carefully: the barcode must be complete, the address readable and nothing cut off. If the crop sits slightly too high or too low, open Advanced, adjust the split and process again. After processing, an order list and a Detected data table may appear so you can verify what the tool read.
7Download or print
Press Download PDF to save the file, or Print to open your browser’s print dialog. Choose your printer, set the paper size to match your stickers, set Margins to None and keep the scale at 100 percent (or Fit to printable area). Turn off headers and footers so no extra text appears on the label.
When the batch is finished, press New batch to clear the screen and start the next one. Delete downloaded files from shared computers after printing.
How the Label Is Found and Cropped
A standard Meesho page has two parts. The upper part is the shipping label with the courier name, barcode, delivery address and order details. The lower part is the tax invoice. The tool reads the text of every page, looks for the heading TAX INVOICE and treats the position just above it as the dividing line. Everything above the line is the label, and everything below it is the invoice.
The label is cut out of the original page rather than converted into a picture. That is why barcodes remain sharp and scannable, and why the output files stay small. If the heading cannot be found, for example on a page with a different format, the tool uses a fallback height of 48 percent of the page. Both the split and the fallback can be changed in the Advanced box.
Because the tool relies on readable text, it works best with PDFs generated by the seller panel. It may not work with scans, screenshots or files that were re-saved by other software.
Every Option Explained
Crop modes compared
| Mode | Best for | Output | Main benefit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single Label | Thermal printers (4x4, 4x6) | One label per page | Sharp, scannable barcodes |
| Invoice A4 | Home or office printers | One invoice per A4 page | Clean customer invoices |
| 4 Labels A4 | A4 sticker sheets or plain paper | Four labels per page | Uses about a quarter of the paper |
| Label + Invoice | Keeping both parts | Original pages, white space removed | Less wasted paper |
| No Crop | Sorting, stamping or order list only | Original pages unchanged | Keeps the full page |
Label sizes
The label size menu is used with Single Label. Pick the size that matches the stickers in your printer. One point (pt) equals 1/72 of an inch.
| Option | Page size | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Auto fit | Exact size of the cropped label | Quick tests and A4 printing |
| 4 x 4 inch | 288 x 288 pt | Small thermal rolls |
| 4 x 6 inch | 288 x 432 pt | The most common thermal shipping label size |
| 100 x 100 mm | 283 x 283 pt | Metric thermal rolls |
| 100 x 150 mm | 283 x 425 pt | Metric equivalent of 4 x 6 inch |
| A6 | 298 x 420 pt | A6 sticker sheets and labels |
Sorting options
SKU Group
Identical products end up next to each other, so your team can pick, pack and label them in one go instead of walking back to the shelf.
Courier
Labels are grouped by pickup partner, which makes the handover to each delivery partner quicker and reduces the chance of a parcel going to the wrong courier.
Multi-qty first
Orders with more than one item are placed first, so they get extra checking before the single-item orders are packed.
Original
Keeps the order Meesho used. Choose this when the Detected data table shows Unknown values or when you want to match another list.
Order list, print date and custom text
The order list counts labels and units for every SKU, size and colour, and shows how many labels each pickup partner has. Use the CSV download to check stock before you start packing. The print date and custom text options add a small line to each label, which helps you identify the batch, the packer or your shop at a glance. The custom line is limited to 40 characters and accepts English letters, numbers and common symbols only.
Advanced settings
Open Advanced only if the crop looks off. Label/invoice split adjust moves the dividing line by a number of points between -60 and 60; a positive value moves it lower. Fallback label height is the share of the page used as the label when the TAX INVOICE heading is not found; it can be set between 20 and 80 percent and starts at 48.
Privacy and Security: Your Files Stay on Your Device
A Meesho label PDF contains personal data about your customers, and handling it carefully is a responsibility every seller shares. This tool reads, crops and rebuilds your PDF using JavaScript libraries that run inside your own browser. The PDF is not sent to our servers, so we never see, store or share your orders.
The only information saved is your option choices (such as mode and size) and your light or dark theme. These are kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device, and you can untick Remember my options on this device to stop even that. Refreshing or closing the page removes the loaded files from memory.
Printing Guide for Thermal and A4 Printers
Thermal label printers (4x4, 4x6 or 100 x 150 mm)
Choose Single Label and a size that matches your roll. Install the printer driver, set the paper size in the driver (for example 4 x 6 inch or 100 x 150 mm) and select the same size in the browser’s print dialog. Set margins to None, keep the scale at 100 percent, switch off headers and footers and enable background graphics if the print looks faint. Print one test label, scan its barcode with your courier or phone app and only then print the full batch.
A4 inkjet and laser printers
Choose 4 Labels A4 to place four labels on one sheet. You can print on plain paper and cut the sheet into quarters, or use A4 sticker sheets divided into four. Print at 100 percent scale rather than Fit to page so the labels are not shrunk, and use normal or high quality so the barcode lines stay crisp. Compared with printing one label per A4 page, this uses about a quarter of the paper.
Quick printing checklist
- Margins set to None and scale at 100 percent.
- Paper size in the print dialog matches the stickers and the size chosen in the tool.
- Headers and footers switched off.
- One test label printed and scanned before the batch.
- Print head and rollers kept clean on thermal printers.
A Simple Daily Workflow for Meesho Sellers
A repeatable routine saves more time than any single setting. This is a workflow that suits most sellers, and you can adjust it to your own volume.
- Download labels at a fixed time. Collecting orders once or twice a day keeps batches consistent and easier to track.
- Upload every file together. Add all PDFs, choose Single Label, select your label size and sort by Courier so handover is quick. Use SKU Group instead if picking from shelves is your slowest step.
- Check the order list. Download the CSV and compare quantities with your stock. If an item is missing, you can resolve it before you print and stick the label.
- Print and pack. Turn on Print date or add your shop name so each label shows which batch it belongs to. Stick the label on the parcel as soon as the item is packed.
- Hand over by courier. Because the labels are grouped, each delivery partner’s parcels can be bundled together.
- Tidy up. Name your files with the date, keep them only as long as your own records require and then delete them.
Troubleshooting Common Problems
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Crop is too high or too low | The split point is slightly off for this layout | Open Advanced, change the split adjust by a few points and process again. |
| Output still shows the full page | No Crop is selected, or the heading was not found | Check the crop mode, use the original PDF and review the fallback height. |
| SKU or courier shows Unknown | The label layout differs or the text cannot be read | Check the Detected data table and choose Original order if needed. |
| Barcode will not scan | Printed too small, scaled or at low quality | Print at 100 percent with margins None, raise the quality and clean the print head. |
| File is skipped when uploading | More than 10 files or over 100 MB in total | Split the work into smaller batches. |
| Custom text is rejected | It contains non-English characters | Use English letters, numbers and symbols, up to 40 characters. |
| PDF libraries could not be loaded | No internet connection or an ad blocker | Check your connection, allow the page in your blocker and reload. |
Responsible Use and Good Practices
This tool is a convenience for sellers, not a replacement for checking your work. Always look at the first few labels in the preview and confirm that the address, barcode and order details are complete before you print the batch. Marketplace layouts can change without notice, so a new format may need a small adjustment or a tool update.
Treat every label as confidential customer information. Share files only with people who need them, avoid posting labels in public groups and delete files when you no longer need them. This website is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meesho. Meesho is a trademark of its respective owner. If something does not work as described here, please reach out through the Contact Us page and we will look into it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so order and customer details stay on your device. Only your option choices and theme are stored locally on your own device.
Will the barcode stay scannable?
Yes. The label is cropped from the original page without being converted to an image, so the barcode stays sharp. Always print one test label and scan it before printing a whole batch.
Can I use this with a 4x4 or 4x6 thermal printer?
Yes. Choose Single Label and set the output size to 4 x 4 inch or 4 x 6 inch (or 100 x 100 mm / 100 x 150 mm), then print with margins set to none.
Which PDF should I upload?
Use the original label PDF downloaded from your seller panel. Scanned copies, screenshots and files re-saved by other software often lose the text the tool needs.
The crop is slightly too high or too low. What can I do?
Open Advanced under Additional options and adjust the split in points, then process again. A positive value moves the split lower. Small steps of 3 to 5 points are usually enough.
Why is SKU or courier shown as Unknown?
The tool reads these values from the text on each label. If the layout differs from what it expects, the value cannot be read. The Detected data table shows exactly what was found, and you can keep the original order instead of sorting.
Is the tool really free?
Yes. You can use it without creating an account or paying. Every option on the page is available to every visitor.
How many files can I process at once?
You can add up to 10 PDF files in one batch, with a total size of up to 100 MB. If your device feels slow with a very large batch, split it into two or three smaller ones.
Does it work on a mobile phone?
The page is designed to work in modern mobile browsers. For large batches, a computer is more comfortable because it has more memory and an easier print dialog.
What is the difference between Single Label and Label + Invoice?
Single Label keeps only the shipping label, one per page, which suits thermal printers. Label + Invoice keeps both parts of the original page but removes the extra white space.
What does the order list contain?
It shows each SKU with its size, colour, number of labels and total quantity, plus a second table with the number of labels per pickup partner. You can download the first table as a CSV file.
Can I add my shop name or the date to every label?
Yes. Turn on Print date, Custom text or both. Custom text accepts up to 40 characters in English letters, numbers and common symbols.
What if Meesho changes the label layout?
Layouts can change over time. If a new layout is cropped incorrectly, use the Advanced box to adjust the split and fallback height, and contact us through the Contact Us page so the tool can be reviewed.
